Yeoview Potatoes is a family-owned farm run by Dan and Tam (plus our three adorable little helpers).
It probably comes as no surprise, but we really like potatoes. When the opportunity arose to take over Dan’s family business in 2006, he jumped at it! Since then, we’ve expanded from growing 30 acres to over 250 acres of premium potatoes.
We’re proud to supply some of Australia’s favourite chip brands, like Smiths and Thins – but we’re also passionate about sharing farm-fresh goodness with our local community. That’s why we started the Spud Shack – to bring potatoes straight from our fields to your table. (We actually grow a range of different types especially for the Spud Shack and local businesses, because crisping potatoes are really only good for crisping!)
For us, potato farming is more than a job; it’s a way of life. From watching the spuds change every day in irrigation season, to the beauty of the paddocks when they flower, or the joy of a bountiful harvest, every day on the farm is rewarding. And with the help of green manures, agronomists, and many beautiful seasonal workers (some who have become lifelong friends), we ensure our crops are always healthy and high-yielding.
So if you love potatoes as much as we do, stop by the Spud Shack or check out our stockists to see where else you can try or buy our spuds!
